Heat Exchangers and all-welded draft diverters carry a 10 year limited warranty. Burners are corrosion resistant and carry a limited Lifetime Warranty.
Solid Construction
Heavy gauge aluminized steel construction resists rust and corrosion in the heat exchanger and draft diverter.
Shorter Height
Special design allows greater floor-to-unit clearance for increased headroom.
Burner Assembly
Positions burners, orfices, pilot assembly, and manifolds so that all components including individual burners can be removed for inspection or cleaning.
Individual Burners
Individual aluminized steel burners are furnished with special stainless steel inserts. Universal design permits burner to be used for either LP or Natural gas.
Low-Voltage Control System
24-volt control system is standard. This reduces the cost associated with electric installation. (Thermostat not included.)
Full Range Of Sizes.
Empire 1000 series unit heaters furnaces are available in 12 sizes to fit any requirement with BTU inputs from 50,000 to 400,000. Empire 2000 series unit heaters are available in 9 sizes to fit any requirement with BTU inputs from 50,000 to 290,000.
FireTesting
All heaters and furnaces are fire tested before shipping. Electrical controls and circuitry verified. Electrical connections accessible for easy wiring. Gas manifold and controls leak tested. Pressure regulator set for rated heating capacity. On unit heaters, fan blades are checked for rotational stability.
A.G.A. Design Certified
All units have been factory tested and design certified by the American Gas Association to meet national safety standards.
Easy Maintenance Access
Burner assembly swings down to expose burners, pilot, and thermocouple. Service or maintenance procedures can be accomplished quickly.
Pressure Regulator
A built-in pressure regulator is included on both LP and Natural gas valves.
Easy Balance Supports and Hangers
Adjustable brackets on the unit heaters permit easy balancing and suspension of units for proper heater alignment and reduced installation cost. Unit heaters require 2-point suspension, order (1) UH-332.
Attractive Cabinetry
Every heater and furnace has a quality look that comes from neatly fitted heavy gauge panels. Leather grained steel, finished with state-of-the-art powder paint.
Motor and Fan for Unit Heaters
All motors feature overload protection and are selected for dependability and long life. Quiet operation is ensured with balanced aluminum fan baldes and cushion mounted motor and fan guard.
UH-2000 Series (High Efficiency Models)
These models are available with standing pilot and operate at an 80% steady-state efficiency. All are A.G.A. design certified.
